I suspect my boyfriend is cheating on me so i would like to bug his phone to figure out whats going on once and for all. I purchased a software on E-stealth but it doesn’t work and the website has no phone number so i am stuck. Anyone know where i can buy a bug to read texts and monitor phone calls. This is a video showing Cyberlink PowerDirector 7 audio/video sync bug. A/V gets more out-of-sync as the video progresses. There is no noticeable A/V sync error at 0:45. But the sync error becomes obvious around 1:58. In between these two points on the timeline are still photos each containing a “zoom” effect and a “fade” transition. The video clips themselves have been trimmed and a “fade” effect has been added between the trimmed clips. Notice additional A/V sync errors at 3:25, 3:55 (notice hand claps), 5:25, and 7:05.
Update (2/7/2010): I’ve been using this software for eight months now and have seen no software updates posted by Cyberlink that address this bug. I just finished a 30-minute video and the A/V sync delays are horrendous. I’ve spent more time trying to figure-out software bug work-arounds than I have making videos. The only work-around I’ve found is to split the audio from the video. But if you use fade transitions, you have to manually fade in/out the audio since it’s no longer attached to the video. Additionally, by splitting audio from video, you are taking-up an audio track that could otherwise be used for something else.
Update (3/24/2010): So it looks like folks who unfortunately purchased PowerDirector 8 are running into the same problem. Viewing SVRT information will place a graphical representation above the video clips. This representation is a good way to visually inspect the audio sync bug. You can see how clean it is early in the video. But as the video progresses, you’ll notice gaps around the transitions that grow as the timeline moves forward.
Bottom line: If you’re considering purchasing Cyberlink’s PowerDirector, my recommendation is to take your business elsewhere. Regardless of all the features advertised, PowerDirector is very buggy software and has not gone through a thorough QA process before being released to the public.

ABSTRACT
Liane Praza, the tech lead on Solaris Service Management Facility will talk about the current and future plans for SMF.
The Service Management Facility has improved several aspects of the Solaris administrative model. Some of the most notable updates are:
* Services are represented as first-class objects that can be viewed (using the new svcs(1) command) and managed (using svcadm(1M) and svccfg(1M)).
* Failed services are automatically restarted in dependency order, whether they failed as the result of administrator error, software bug, or were affected by an uncorrectable hardware error.
* More information is available about misconfigured or…

Woke up this morning and was told there was a repetitive camera clicking noise in the office and found it was the web-cam software. When I checked the web-cam file folder there were nearly 3000 pics in there and the camera came on about 7:30 a.m. and kept going until it was shut off at 9 a.m. The Logitech program and camera haven’t been used in months. The program wouldn’t close and it had to be shut down via the task manager.
By the way, just as I finished typing this the program opened up and started taking pics by itself again, like 1 every 3 seconds and it’s still going.
software bug
would be a hilarious virus though

Abstract:
Almost all software contains undiscovered bugs, ones that have not yet been exposed by testing or by users. Wouldn’t it be nice if there was a way to know the location of these bugs? This talk presents two approaches for predicting the location of bugs. The bug cache contains 10% of the files in a software project.

http://devirkahan.com/ – After I realized that the batteries in my Apple Wireless keyboard were dying too quickly (after about 5 days) I decided to give Apple customer support a call. My past experiences with them have been very good, and this time was no exception. They sent me a new keyboard no problem and free of charge. However, as I found out afterwards from an online forum, the problem was not hardware, but a software bug. For some reason the new Magic Mouse does not let the keyboard go to sleep and that is why the batteries were dying so quickly. I have switched back to my old Mighty Mouse and can say that it was indeed the Magic Mouse. My keyboard has not gone down even ONE PERCENT in the past two days. It’s up to Apple now to release a fix, and they had better do so soon!

hi all, how come defect is called as a "Bug" in software testing ?
Back in the day when computers took up a whole room, insects would literally get into the computers and short out components.

System Testing is a crucial step in Quality Management Process. In the Software Development Life cycle System Testing is the first level where the System is tested as a whole The System is tested to verify if it meets the functional and technical requirements The application/System is tested in an environment that closely resembles the production environment where the application will be finally deployed The System Testing enables us to test, verify and validate both the Business requirements as well as the Application Architecture http://www.SoftwareTestingCareer.Com Online Live Webinar on 17th January 2010 visit http://www.SoftwareTestingCareer.Com & register for that to get access to 30 SOftware Testing minute Video & PDFs for free
