If you dont have a …
If you dont have a net to tie onto your ALICE FRAME, I suggest that you make one—pronto! Dave has a video showing you how to do it. It really doesnt take long and a net, when combined with the ALICE PACK FRAME, IS A TOP SHELF WAY TO HAUL A LOAD. Paracord is great for net making, but common nylon cord from Big Lots will be fine, too, for most applications.

Although it may insult your sense of apocalyptic survival scenarios, sometimes a self-reliant citizen may have to go to a supermarket. Yeah, it happens. And if you dont have access to a vehicle, you have to carry stuff. Consider typical sadsacks plodding along with a couple of plastic bags in each hand. But if you have an ALICE FRAME and a net, you can easily tie an odd load of groceries into the net and onto the pack frame.

    WHAT AN IMPROVEMENT!

I concider the large to be a “settin up shop” load level. your movin in, and you got your kitchen sink. no reason no tto have a 40 inch axe hangin off it.

the medium alice is great for colder weather. or if you just want some added comfort. its plenty for most people on a 3-4day

in my inner frame, i have a US mosqitto net.

between my packs i have 4 inches of play, for a fishing kit, ammo pouches, I could prob fit another molle but i don’t need that kinda space, if i did id use the Med alice.

everything is super easy to get to, it has room for everything i need. very easy to take bedroll off, empty molle for use in gathering, take everything off for haulin wood/water, very versital.

its a slightly heavier, but totaly complete scout load

the buttpack belt is around the frame, and on one side has a 2qt, the other an Etool

the top buttpack has binoc;s fire kit, first aid, repair kit, and tons more things. has my BFK on the bottom

the molle pack has my mess kit. sling bow, saw, larger items

the bedroll is a wool, with an 8×10, 1 pair pants, 1 cotton T
