I have a friend that thinks that her vehicle is either bugged or has a tracking system put on it without her knowledge. Is there a device out there to find these? We would like to find them to remove them as her exhusband is causing her problems and we think he is following her using one of these devices. Thanks!
My suggestion is that you contact the local police or hire a private investigator into this matter.
I would, also, suggest in order for this question seen more by people with expertise and interest in the area to post it in a more appropriate category. I would suggest the following possibilities:
Consumer Electronics -> General – Consumer Electronics
Politics & Government -> Law Enforcement & Police

I really don’t think her car is "bugged". I am sure since he is her ex-husband that he has an idea what her schedule is. There are devices that can detect "bugs" but they are expensive if you can find them for sale to the public. This is also the same for "bugs". If money is not object hire a private eye to find out what the ex is up to. If money is an issue, tell her to be more aware of her surroundings. When you start paying attention to everything around you (people and things) you are less at risk to be a victim.
If he is becoming a threat she should go to the police.
