This is nothing but bug hunting. Oh yeah and we blow up a house.

I am a singer/guitarist with full band backing tracks. I play the drums, bass and piano etc. and record them on a Korg D16XD Digital Multitrack recorder. I play guitar and sing live. I hook my marshall jcm head direct into the korg and put it on two record ready tracks and put my vocals on 2 tracks and press play and play along with the recorded tracks. Than I run the monitor outs from the korg through a direct box into the pa’s 1st two inputs.
Now I’ve rehearsed on my 8 inch Event precision studio monitors and the mix sounds amazing and on my pa system. Its a 600 watt yamaha 4 speakers system. But the variable thats bugging me are the venues pa’s. The kick drums has been so overwhelming at live shows lately that when it hits the other sounds fade out.
Should I remix the recorded tracks so that the kick drum is lower?
I don’t see why. It sounds great on my 2 systems. I can’t see why there would be such a difference.
Or should I simply compress the drum tracks?

Compression is best if there are loud and quiet parts. So if the kick is too loud just on loud intense parts then go ahead and compress it. However if its too much through the whole song, then you might want to just lower the mix.
THERE IS A BUG WITHIN LOW LEVEL SOFTWARE THAT WILL AFFECT MACHINE ON THE 20TH OF OCTOBER.
If there is, it’s the first I’ve heard of it. However, if the world didn’t end after Y2K, I think we’ll survive Y2k10.
Last of my three video visualizations of the data from the White Glove Tracking project. The data contains the approximate location and size of Michael Jackson’s trademark white glove in all 10060 frames of his landmark Motown 25 performance of Billie Jean on March 25, 1983. Shapely illustrates the prominence of another type of white glove in Jackson’s life: the surgical glove.
