My teacher assigned us a project on Japan and I was wondering what would be some good Japanese *traditional* music while talking about the country. No J-pop, but Enka would be great. I’ll give 10 points.
Here are some good Enka songs:
"Shinobu no Wataridori" – Otowa Shinobu
"Nagara Gawa" – Itsuki Hiroshi
"Meoto Zanzai" – Sayuri Ishikawa
Hope this helps.
I am running Windows Vista, and I know that I have viruses on my system, but when I scan in Norton Full System Scan, it only tells me I have 1 or 2 tracking cookies.
I can see the files it is scanning, like backdoor.exe (example) but it just ignores them entirely. It will scan the file for around 3-10 minutes, but nothing pops up in the Attention Required.
I talked to tech support, they were no help at all, in fact, they were kinda stupid, and they didn’t care about my issue, they just asked me if (Around 15 times, every time I said NO) if I wanted them to do it for me from their server. They actually bugged me to do it, even after I said I had no money.
Back to my issue.
I have all of the settings in Norton set correctly. I know a fair amount about computers.
Is it possible for a virus to interfere with the scan?
I get Norton for free because I use Rogers as my ISP, and they offer Norton as a free offer when you sign up for their internet.
Also, almost every free virus scan I used all said that I had no viruses.
I’m 100% confused, and I am basically giving up.
I’m at that point where I want to totally reformat my entire computer back to the original settings.
I switched to a Mac, and I love it. I love not having to worry about a virus every time I download a file.
Anyways, what should I do?
Just offer up as many suggestions as possible.
(I’ve tried almost everything! And the things you people offer up I have probably already done)
In the mean time, I have stopped the process of some of the viruses, but it wont last for ever.
HELP!!
(Some of my spelling and/or grammar may be incorrect)
I have AVG and Mcafee but they did the same thing as Norton .
It is telling me the files it has found, or it is telling me the folders it is currently searching in.
It is not telling me what it is looking for.
The tech support were complete morons. They had no clue what they were talking about, and they always ended up trying to get me to buy something.
They did however do a quick scan of my system, and they said I had over 10 viruses.
I would switch to a new Anti-Virus program, but since I get Norton for free, I didn’t find the need to.
You recommend NOD32? I actually thought that NOD32 was a fake scanner? Well.. It was something 32.
I meant to say I had those other two virus scanners. (I did Not run that at once, and I removed them from my system before using another)
I only use Mac and Windows.
Windows for games and Mac for everything else.
I never liked Linux.
When Norton is scanning it isn’t finding those trojans. It’s listing the trojans it’s looking for. You are just seeing what norton is searching for like Hacktool, VBS Backdoor Rustock A, The list goes on and on. I wonder why Norton support did not tell you that.
